Bridgend Mill 2

Whilst WEPA UK is a relatively new name, we have the benefit of many decades of experience producing and converting paper.  Bridgend Paper Mill was built in 1950 by Wiggins Teape.  Over the following decades the site formed part of British Tissues, Nokia and then Fort James.  Georgia Pacific acquired Fort James in 2000, and over the last 20 years £100m has been invested to ensure Bridgend remains at the forefront of the paper industry.

Bridgend is an integrated mill covering 75 acres, containing a paper machine and 6 converting lines.  The site has a state of the art water treatment plant that can process 4m gallons per day.  This has led to the river downstream gaining Grade A status from the Environment Agency.
